»Training the Archive« at the QURATOR Conference 2022

Sept. 22, 2022, starting at 2 p.m., Naturkundemuseum Berlin
Lecture: Discovering museum collections with the Curator’s Machine

Abstract: Multimodal suggestion systems promise intuitive discovery of museum collections. The search for objects is changing from rigid conceptual input to an interpretive approach to meaning contexts. The »Curator’s Machine« as a possible Prototype wants to initiate an explorative human-machine interaction, in which the contextual knowledge of curators is also included in the Machine Learning.
